The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is a national public law university. Which provides highly quality education. It was found under the National Law university of India Act (Karnataka Act 22 of 1986). It was introduce in the official Gazette in 1987. NLSIU was one of the first institutions in India to introduce a five-year integrated law degree program at the undergraduate level in 1988. The university is holding accreditation from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Indian Bar Council (BCI). NLSIU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and holds a ‘Grade’ accreditation from the NAAC.
NLSIU provide 16 courses in Law, such as disciplines, including undergraduate(UG) , postgraduate (PG), and doctoral programs. The University creates a Department of Basic Education (DED) that provides online and integrated courses. It has 11 research-focused institutes in various fields of Law, Human Rights, Children’s Rights, Environmental Laws, Intellectual Property, Social Inclusion, Law and Medical Ethics, Law, Cyber & Forensics, Staff Studies, and Neglected Communities.
The NLSIU, Bangalore has a 23-hectare campus in Nagarbhavi (Bengaluru), with many educational institutions. Such as chat rooms, and skills centers. The university has a three-story library with a collection of more than 50,000 books, 20,000 journals, e-books, and an e-site. It also consist of copying, printing, and scanning resources. The NLSIU campus also has an aerobics and yoga center, a health center, a gymnasium, a soccer field, a home table tennis court, a tennis court, a netball court, four men’s hostels, and five women’s hostels, each with special facilities.

National Law University, Delhi is establish in 2008 under the Government of Delhi. The university is acknowledge by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The university is establish for the purpose of providing students with a law degree. National Law University, Delhi is in rank 2nd in the list of NIRF 2021 under the clause. NALSAR University of Law
The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) is establish in 1998 with the Andhra Pradesh Regional Statement. Since its inception, the University has been the home of important legal and judicial discussions. The panelists agreed that questions of justice arise in all legal proceedings whether in the courts, organizations, academic or administrative. Using the law as a tool to change society the University has supported the faith wars of land rights, the empowerment of the disabled and the opposition to police misconduct and hate speech. NALSAR is commit to build a legal code of ethics, which protects and promotes the rule of law. The social justice agenda is not a joke but the University believes that the cause of building a legal community is a continuous, sustainable work if done with hope and happiness.
In line with its liberal view, legal education is provided in an inclusive manner. Therefore, there is a link between law, social science, humanities, and management studies in both the development and implementation of the curriculum in a variety of degree and diploma courses.

Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai
Government Law College, founded at Elphinstone Institution. The Government Law College is recognize by the University of Bombay since 1860.
College admission are done through Maharashtra Common Entrance exam – MH LAW CET, w2hich came in 2016. Entrance examination is mandatory for admission to Maharashtra law colleges. Also it asks in tests for legal competence, general knowledge, language, and thinking skills. 85% of seats are reserve for people from Maharashtra, with the total booking of college seats up to 50%.
The college is knowing for its active student life and the college teams have a lasting track record in many sports. The GLC campus is located in Churchgate, west of the railway station, near the Bombay High Court. The college has 17 classrooms, a Mooting Room, Auditorium, an auditorium and a kitchen for the benefit of the students. The campus has a basketball court and a mini gymkhana at the back of the hall (table tennis, carom, etc.). Students also use the nearby Oval Maidan or Mumbai University stadium for sports such as cricket and soccer. The GLC has been promoting activities such as Moot courts, debates, essay competitions and other activities that help improve the legal knowledge and speaking and writing skills of candidates. Since 1936, moot court is being practicing this college. Student committees also promote sports, music, dance and drama.

National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal
The National Law Institute University (NLIU) is a public law school and National Law University located in Bhopal, India. Established in 1997 by the Province of Madhya Pradesh. It is the second law school establish under the National Law School program. The university started its first academic program in 1998, with Indian jurist V.S. Rekhi as Director. Recognized by the Indian Bar Council, the university welcomes 100 graduates each year with a Common Law Admission Test. Those who completes 15 trimesters before completing a combined B.A., LL.B (Hons.) Degree. A post-graduate course offered at the University by LL.M. degrees.
The University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and is the dean of the university. It works closely with the Madhya Pradesh High Court, as well as the National Judicial Academy. Since 2009, NLIU has been the home of the Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Center. Which is establish by the Department of Labor Development, Government of India.
Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune
Symbiosis Law School (SLS) is a law college which location is in Pune, Hyderabad, and Nagpur in India. The law school was founded in 1977 under the banner of the Symbiosis Society. Under the leadership of S. B. Mujumdar, President and Executive Director. It is register under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Bombay Public Trust, Act, 1950. Symbiosis Law School is a basic college of Symbiosis International University.
Admission for non-graduate Program is done through the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). Which is a standard writing examination of the Undergraduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Entrance test is a writing Test and Personal Interviews which makes SLS the first law school to gain acceptance through these measures. SLAT has replace what was previously known as the SET – Symbiosis Entrance Test for Law.
Indian Law Society’s Law College (ILS), Pune
The Indian Law Society is establish on 4 March 1923. It is registered by a Public Charitable Trust under the Societies Registration Act. The society establish the legendry Law College with the objective of providing facilities for the study of law on a scientific basis with proper training.
The college is recognize with the University of Bombay, but with the founding of the University of Pune in 1949, the college became a constituent of the latter.
The ILS campus is at the center of Law College Road between the FTII (Film and Television Institute) and the Bhandarkar Research Institute. The Sarswati Building, consist of the library, the reading room, the administrative office, the conference hall and the Principal’s office. Besides that chambers of other faculty members and computer facilities for research students. The Lakshmi Building has eighteen halls for regular lectures, the legal aid center and an auditorium with a capacity of 400 people. It use for guest lectures, college functions and presentations.
Apart from the academic and administrative buildings, the College facilities are further enrich with a huge residential complex for male students. The new construction is for Ladies Hostel. It consist of a gymnasium, a cricket and football ground, a sports pavilion housing the indoor sports facilities, tennis courts and a swimming pool to maintain physical health.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, one of the country’s top institutions recognize by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is establish by an Act of Parliament – BHU Act 1915. Founder of BHU is Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, and a group of other luminaries, in 1916. The university includes 5 Institutes, 16 Faculties (streams) 140 Departments, 4 inter-disciplinary institutions, a college constituent for women and 3 constituent schools. It covers many subjects related to all branches of humanity, social science, technology, medicine, science, fine arts and the performing arts. Gujrat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar
GNLU is establish in 2003 through the efforts of Indian Solicitor General, Kirit Raval, then former Gujarat Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and then Indian Bar Council. The university is based on the site of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. GNLU was the seventh National Law University (NLU) to establish in the country. It is establish with the active support of the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat and the legal team. Prof. Dr. V.S. Mani was the first Director, followed by Prof. Dr. Bimal N. Patel. In 2012, GNLU acquire its new 50-hectare campus is at the Knowledge Corridor of Gandhinagar.
The GNLU curriculum is based on a two-year semester program and is determine by the professors involve. Courses include project work, report writing, research and analysis. As GNLU is a Research-Based Training University (RbTU), each faculty prepares the curriculum, draws a syllabus based on its first internal research and consults with academic experts nationally and internationally. Mooting is compulsory in the first semester and all undergraduate students taking admission to any undergraduate course may choose to study in any single language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Swahili, and Sanskrit).
Admission to GNLU was initially made on the basis of a separate entrance examination conduct by the university itself. But after a Supreme Court decision ordering all admission tests should merge. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) was introduce in 2008, again. From then on admission to GNLU, both undergraduate and postgraduate programs are done on a working basis in CLAT. The first CLAT was in 2008, by NLSIU, and in 2014, GNLU did CLAT. By 2019, about 60,000 students are appear for CLAT.
